Mrs. Esther Vale Hughes EVANS, 64, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday Dec 26, 1962 in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville after suffering a heart attack while at work at Hunt's Electric, Waveland. She was a daughter of John Nathaniel and Millie Irwin Hughes and was born Feb 13, 1898. Surviving are the husband, John Evans, a daughter, Sue, four brothers, Tom; Otis; Lloyd and Robert (Pete) Hughes. Mrs. Evans was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Russellville, in which she had a 25-year pin, and of the American Legion Auxiliary. Funeral rites were held at 1 Saturday at Russellville Federated Church, with burial in Darlington Cemetery. - typed by kbz
